cooking station (level 23)
A more advanced cooking structure turning “Stocks” into “Stews” giving various Meal effects.
It does not “replace” the Campfire but it does require more labour intensive materials.
Only one Food Buff and be active at a time and eating a new one will just replace the old one.

The ingredients for Cooking come from killing and harvesting animals (also Butchering the Carcass), Farming or gathering edible items from various map locations.
- Fruit and Vegetables- Farming.
- Raw Meat, Bone and Fat- Animals.
- Crab/Chicken- Animals.
- Grasshopper/Ladybug- Chopping trees.
- Eggs- Nests and Tamed Chickens.
- Seashell/Seaweed- Sea Shore/Beach.
- Mushrooms- Hills (Middle of the Map).
- Water and Milk Jars- Looted or Crafted in Workbench.

Unlocked at L 21, Stackable.

Unlocked at L 23, not stackable.

farming
Farming consists of using the Copper Shovel to create square mounds of earth (Crop Plot) which then can be planted with any seed. The seeds then only need water to grow with Fertiliser (Fertilizer) speeding up the growth process by 100%.
Press “B” to learn about Farming in the in game knowledge book. Crop Plots will snap in a (NSEW) position to the first one set and seems thats only the ground flatness level limits the amount of rows and columns buildable.
All seeds take the same time to grow, rain does not currently water crops and seeds are used as food for Chickens.
Copper Shovels can be found when looting houses or crafted at Level 16 in the Forge using Branches x30 and Copper Ingots x5. It does not need finishing in the Anvil.



- Use the Copper Shovel to make a square Crop Plot and then plant a seed and water it.
- The mouse over will change for what seed type has been planted, its Growth and how much water and Fertiliser it has left.


<The seed will then grow changing the world model as it grows until ready to harvest.
When harvested, the Fruit or veg item will be collected x Farming Skill bonus and one seed to replant. Use either Waterkskins or Buckets and a Well or a lake to water seeds.
Tip- A Bucket will water 3 Crop Plots to 100%.

The Carnivorous Plants requires Farming Skill Level 6 to plant and once grown it needs Fertiliser to remain active.
Update v0.5.1 brought in a rework for Carnivorous Plants:
- Must be watered to remain active.
- Loses health over time if it has no food and eats only living animals (lead animals close to the plant).
- Damage increased by 50%.
- Fertilised plants deal an additional 33% damage.

fishing
Fishing is being successful with the Fishing Pole which is unlocked at Level 6. You need Worms (found when Chopping wood and as loot) in your Inventory. Press “B” to learn about Farming in the in game book.
The Character needs to be close to deep open water and the Fishing Skill increases the chances of catching a Fish but sometimes a Sack with a random item can be caught instead.
Catching 5 Fish is part of the Tutorial System.

Fishing Skill level increases the chance to trigger an encounter (less waiting) and upon a successful catch, there is a 30% chance to obtain a sack (Loot item) instead of a Fish.
How to Fish >
Press hold LMB with Pole equipped and then when fish bite, let go of LMB.
Tip- Keep Rope on you to repair the Pole.
Bug Fixed- It only takes 1 worm not 2.
