Fishing in Shamania is a learned skill. You must first learn Fishing and acquire the Fishing Rod crafting recipe. Both can be obtained in Everland at the Shore Trader camp via the Fishing Trainer.
To learn Fishing and Fishing Rod you will need a total of 15 Gold Coins and be Character Level 5.
Once you obtain the crafting recipe for Fishing Rod, you can craft the item in the on-player crafting menu.
The Fishing Rod can be repaired at the Anvil or Gold Anvil.
Fishing Rods can also be sold for 1 Gold Coin and 50 Silver Coins.

How to Fish
After you have learned Fishing from the Trainer and crafted a Fishing Rod, you are able to fish in any body of water in the world of Shamania. There is currently no advanced mini game required for Fishing. The fish and any other rewards will automatically go into your inventory as shown in the video below.
- Cast by pressing LMB
- Wait for the line to shake
- Press LMB again to reel in your fish and/or rewards
Fish Types
Besides the following 4 types of fish you may also catch Morphing Chests. This will depend on your Fishing level and % chance to receive double rewards.

Fishing Recipes
There is currently only one Cooking recipe for fish in Shamania. You must first obtain a Fish Grill from the Totem of Gifts.

fishing Profession
The maximum level for Fishing is currently level 14 and there are 2 specializations: Tidekissed and Baitmaster. You level up this skill by fishing in any body of water.
- Tidekissed provides extra points for your specializations, increases experience gained from Fishing, and increases a chance to receive double rewards.
- Baitmaster increases the experience gained for Fishing and increases a chance to receive double rewards. Double Rewards may mean twice the amount of fish caught or increase the chance to receive a Morphing Chest as well.
