Mounts are primarily obtained by being purchased from Traders in Everland or Cinderveil, but can also be unlocked by completing secret quests. The default key binding to ride your mount is Q.
To equip a mount, you can press RMB or just drag and drop it from your inventory into the Mount slot while in the Character Tab.
Your equipped mount will also show on the left hand side of your screen under the mini-map HUD.
