Shamania currently has 4 profession types and each type has at least one specialization you can spec into while you are leveling up the skill. You can access Professions by opening your inventory and clicking on the Professions Tab or default key binding “P”.
Mining
The maximum level for Mining is currently 17 and there are 3 specializations: Earthshaper, Heartforge, and Veinrunner. You level up this profession by mining stone and ores.
- Earthshaper most importantly provides the unlock for Furnace I.
- Heartforge provides the unlock for Furnace II and Furnace III.
- Veinrunner speeds up and increases resource extraction.
Note: Furnace I (Brown) smelts every ore and takes 30 seconds per ingot versus Furnace III (Purple) that also smelts every ore but only takes 15 seconds per ingot.
Lumbering
The maximum level for Lumbering is currently level 20 and there are 3 specializations: Ambervein, Barkboon, and Timberrush. You level up this skill by chopping trees, saplings, stumps, and reeds.
- Ambervein provides the ability to gather Resin, gain extra points for your specializations, and unlocks the Crafting Recipe for the Witchplank.
- Barkboon increases the experience gained for Lumbering and the amount of resources during extraction.
- Timberrush increases the experience gained for Lumbering and the speed of resource extraction.
Herbalism
The maximum level for Herbalism is currently level 14 and there are 2 specializations: Bloomfinder and Bloomtide. You level up this skill by gathering any interactable foliage such as Cotton, Currant Berries, Ashleaf, Firethorn Berries, etc.
- Bloomfinder provides extra points for your specializations, increases experience gained from Herbalism, increases a chance to receive double rewards from gathering, and also unlocks the Crafting Recipe for the Scorching Extract.
- Bloomtide increases the experience gained for Herbalism and increases a chance to receive double rewards from gathering.
fishing
The maximum level for Fishing is currently level 14 and there are 2 specializations: Tidekissed and Baitmaster. You level up this skill by fishing in any body of water. The Fishing Pole and crafting recipe can be purchased in Everland at the Fishing Village via the Fishing Trainer.
- Tidekissed provides extra points for your specializations, increases experience gained from Fishing, and increases a chance to receive double rewards.
- Baitmaster increases the experience gained for Fishing and increases a chance to receive double rewards. Double Rewards may mean twice the amount of fish caught or increase the chance to receive a Morphing Chest as well.
